And to finish the report a few words from Stan who always manages to provide a great commentary on the UAAA events –

“had a good day at dungavel yday. had 17 broonies from 1/2 to 3/4lbs wind, rain, sunshine, we had it all. fished wi big rab, and alan tipple. we took the car to the top of the reservoir and walked down from the main road, to escape the worst of the wind. it was really strange fishing, cos i hardly saw a fish rise all day, but they were taking ma wee greenwells glory, and black spider clydestyles all day, fished with a 5ft intermediate tip on a long leader big alby scooped the heaviest bag, ma cuz gordon thorn got the best fish, and young amy gavin took the junior prize – another well organised event from the U.A.A.A. cant wait till the next one!! sorry didna get many pics due to the rain and ma camera`s seen enough water this yr!!!”
