Just thought I’d send you a wee report about today at the reservoir.Arrived about 9am ,signed in and had a wee read at the catch reports .Not looking to promising not many fish being caught Got the boat ready, headed up the top end into the cold blustery wind . Started off with the usual wets with no luck .After about an hour of nothing I changed to a dry daddylonglegs and my luck changed.4 hours later I’d landed at least 12 fish ranging from half pound to pound and a half . The first fish was lighter in colour than anything I’ve caught up there before then a few dark ones and a couple of beautiful golden ones
Had probably my best day on the reservoir catch wise . Never seen another soul up there the whole place to myself
