Hi
Have been getting some very positive reports of some great quality Brownies coming off the river recently – see 2 recent cracking Brownies caught in the last fortnight –
Graeme Hamilton caught this beauty on the evening of the the 5th of July an absolute belter of a Brownie.
Any idea what weight this is?
Graeme who normally Fly Fishes the river changed to a number 0 Mepp when he realised that the river was very coloured due to heavy rain and couldn’t believe what he hooked.
Whatever weight it is this is an Upper Avon river Brownie that i’m sure Graeme will continue to remember for ever.
More reports of good fish coming of the river recently – please see photo of one Matthew Green caught last night 150614 & his comments below – “What a crackin river. Cant believe its taken me this long to have a dig. Caught a lovely trout above ******** on a sedge just as it was getting dark. Took a quick photo before putting her back.”
Well Done Matthew!!!
Thank you to both anglers for taking the time to send us in the reports & photos of there catches.
Please keep the reports coming.
Cheers
